About the Role
We are building a next-generation analytics platform and need a seasoned Data Engineer to own our data pipelines and warehouse architecture. This is a fully remote position open to candidates anywhere in the MENA region.
You will design and maintain ELT pipelines ingesting from 20+ data sources, optimise query performance across our data warehouse, and collaborate with analytics engineers and BI teams to surface business-critical insights.
Requirements
- 4+ years as a data engineer in a production environment
- Expert-level SQL and experience with columnar warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift)
- Proficiency with dbt (data build tool) for transformation layer
- Experience building and orchestrating pipelines with Airflow or Prefect
- Solid understanding of data modelling (star schema, data vault)
- Familiarity with Kafka or Pub/Sub for real-time ingestion is a plus
